We have three Resorts within Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality KIWANE, GONUBIE AND NAHOON CARAVAN PARK.

Our ServicesKIWANE RESORTS: We have FAMILY UNITS which comprise a comfortable living room, fully fitted kitchen and dining area, downstairs bathroom and two upstairs bedrooms.

The main bedroom with standard double bed features beautiful river views, while a second bedroom is equipped with two twin beds. HOLIDAY APARTMENTS are one-bedroom units suitable for couples or single guests.

Two of our apartments are wheelchair accessible. Sleeps 2. All units have access to either private or communal braai facilities, a common, river-view garden and public children’s play area. Our 24-hour security features include an access control main gate, guard house and secure, on-site parking.



Our ServicesGONUBIE CARAVAN PARK & RESORT: We have 14 chalets that accommodate 6 people which comprises of lounge, kitchen, bathroom with showers and some with bath, main bedroom with double bed, small room with 2 single beds and sleeping couch in the lounge that sleeps two people. Six (6) x 4 sleeper chalets, 3 comprises of king beds and sleeping couch in the lounge and 3 comprises of two single beds and sleeping couch and 83 camping sites.

Nahoon Caravan Park is a dedicated caravan park and we are committed to the highest quality standards and service. Nahoon Caravan Park is the perfect place to relax and unwind and we offer many features for all family members. Gonubie Holiday Resort is situated on the beach in the coastal town of Gonubie. Only 8km off the main East London/Durban N2 route, and twenty minutes away via the Freeway from the thriving City of East London the resort is the perfect base to explore the East Coast, the Kei River area and the surrounding Historic towns of Cathcart, Stutterheim and King Williams Town.


Kiwane Our Services
Kiwane situated on the western bank of the wildlife-rich Kiwane Estuary and bordering the biodiverse Hamburg Nature Reserve, the resort is a nature and bird lover’s paradise. It is in close proximity to numerous nature walks, wildlife trails and quad bike routes and birding and nature appreciation activities are encouraged. Abundant game in the lush coastal thickets surrounding the resort include bush buck, blue duiker, bush pig, dassie and monkeys. With direct access to both the Kiwane estuary and river, as well as the pristine Kiwane beach, the resort offers unlimited opportunity for water sport activities, including angling, kayaking, surfing and windsurfing. A new restaurant is being constructed on site, and is due to be operational by the end of October.


Nahoon Caravan Park Our Services

We operate a friendly park catering for tourists of all ages. Nahoon Caravan Park is situated in close proximity to the well-known Nahoon Beach and river. There are many activities to enjoy in and round Nahoon. Find great facilities like golf, bowls, tennis, hockey, badminton and squash all located within a few minutes’ drive, while shopping malls and movies are easily accessible. East London is a safe and friendly town with lots of outdoor activities, surfing, walking on the beach, paddling up the river or just enjoying the outdoor (running, cycling, swimming). Ideal for people who enjoy the outdoors and sports.


Facilities

The Gonubie Holiday Resort and Nahoon Caravan Park are ideally located for many outdoor activities such as fishing, golf and surfing. The parks itself boasts its very own protected beach with a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the lagoon and surrounding beaches. The ablution blocks are kept spotlessly clean and features showers and baths, scullery and a well-equipped laundry with washing machines, tumble-driers, irons and ironing boards, season all adds to the enjoyment for a wonderful holiday. Gonubie Holiday Resort: Entertainment programmes, table tennis, Televisions during the summer holiday.
